This painting is a metaphor like the Rev. 2:4 painting

 

Yeshua is saying to the church in Philadelphia ‘I have seen what you are doing.  Look I have opened a door for you that no man can shut.  I know you have but little strength, yet you have obeyed my message and have not disowned me.’

 

In the case of this painting the young woman is leaving her childhood behind her.  The Lord has opened the door for the next stage of her life that no man can shut.
