Revelation 6:1-8 |
|
Revelation 6:1-8 These are the four horses of the Apocalypse. They are loosed on the earth when Yeshua opens the first four seals of the scroll that he has received from God. The first horse is the white horse with a rider on it’s back that has a crown. Not to be confused with Jesus who returns wearing a diadem crown in chapter nineteen. This crown in the Greek is ‘stephanos’ which means conquering. It is highly likely that this person is anti-Christ. Especially as he is counterfeiting Yeshua in later chapters.
The second horse has a rider who is given authority to kill humans. The third horse is the black horse. His rider has a pair of scales (not seen in the picture) the scales illustrate that at this time a man will work a whole day to buy a loaf of bread! However wine and oil will be in supply. Most probably for the elite rich.
The last horse represents Hades, death, pestilence and death by wild beasts. When God gave man dominion over the animals in Genesis 1:26, possibly the Lord is revoking this authority, as because of these things, including wild beasts, 1/4 of the worlds population will die. Maybe 1,000,000,000 people.
